Simple Tweaks to Speed Up Firefox
On any operating system, Firefox has a few tricks up its sleeve. By typing about:config into the address bar and accepting the warning you can access a huge assortment of settings. By changing a few of these you can make a night and day difference in the speed of Firefox. I highly recommend every user of Firefox does this.
- Type about:config into the address bar
- Accept warning
- Change network.dns.disableIPv6 to true
- Change network.http.pipelining to true
- Change network.http.pipelining.aggressive to true
- Change network.http.pipelining.maxrequests to 45
